The Palace Guard

Poor Richard's Quick Tip:  Are you and/or your sales team approachable?

Avoid being a palace guard

Believe it or not, I've seen countless salespeople stand in the exhibit with their arms folded looking like a palace  guard or a sentry guarding the display.

Did I get a warm, fuzzy, "welcoming" vibe from those  booths?  Absolutely not!  And neither will your prospects.   And remember...Always stand at least 3 feet from the displays or equipment and be an observer - not a guard.

Make it easy for prospects to approach the display without your interference.

Good luck, and make it happen!
